Woken up by a call from this number at 7.33am. No message left so clearly a scam caller. These intrusive and annoying sorts of calls are occurring with increasing frequency. I suspect that this was another coming from abroad but disguised to look like a UK number. The sooner such calls are stopped by telephone providers the better.
If you're considered vulnerable or shy on the phone (avoid this number) Personally I'm not, but I now see why people worry about this. They hang up in hope you will call them, they wanna do a survey on your energy provider and switch you to them. (Far too much pressure). She said this is not a sales call and wanted to know everything about my house. When I asked again who they were she put the phone down.
Called from a local claiming to be calling from the UK but was from an international call centre when I asked what city they were based in, they hung up.
Told me he was from a UK government organisation where we live. I asked him which organisation that was and he said he was from the UK where we live, not the US. I continued to question him and he asked me if I was insane. I told him I had been diagnosed as such by my doctor, and he hung up on me....charming!!!!
