Called saying I had a problem with my broadband. Assumed scam call.

Pertaining to be from BT saying that my internet has been compromised. I said that I was not with BT so the lady hung up.

Said they were from BT Business but could not send a quotation out. Asked them for verification details and they said it would take too long.

Received text saying - just checking if this is still your number. Carmel. I looked up the number on Google and it says it comes from India - Beware!!!!

This company is a huge nuisance and should be fined. They do not screen against the TPS and do not remove people from the marketing list when asked. ALWAYS report this number to the Information Commisioner s Office. It is very say to do that on the ICO website. Because if enough people do that, they company will get a massive fine and hopefully be put out of business.
