Repeated calls but only while abroad , itself highly suspicious. I suspect our holiday info was sold. All unanswered. No calls since returning to the UK.
I never answer if a number is unknown to me and don't know the area code, I get so many calls from unknown numbers every day and if it was important they would leave a voice mail, they always hang up as voice mail kicks in, every time in the past I answered it was always telemarketing, number is now in my block box.

RAC, Cancelled my membership after they screwed me over on parts and labour. Stated in black and white the parts are covered and they held my car 12 days. This call was to try and push their fear mongering on the cancellation and fee s that i owe them. Worst Breakdown service ever. Happy to take your money not happy to pay out! The person said they where from 118 live directory, he asked for the business owner which I am not so I said no I’m afraid he won’t be in untill friday at that point he hung up. I did 14713 and called back to get an automated American voice saying it was utility direct. Scam.

From 118-online asking for a survey. Don't speak when answered and numerous calls from same number at same time using clogging up all lines so no one else can ring in, meaning our customers get sent to voicemail. Have emailed 118-online [who's website seems a bit dodgy] and had assurances that our number[s] are taken from their list, but that obviously has not happened. So OFCOM here we come.
