I let the young lady drone on for a bit, dangling the carrot of a sale in front of her, lulling her into a false sense of hope, before hanging up. Funny this..had the same call today from this number to both my mobile AND Landline. The only people that have both my mobile AND Landline number are Talk Talk as they are work numbers and I don t give them out.

Recorded voice message of a well spoken elderly gentlemen saying the call was from National Crime Agency, my national insurance number is linked to multiple crimes and I should press 1 to speak to an officer immediately. Clearly a bogus call, I doubt the National Crime Agency would ring from a mobile number. No idea what they are up to but nothing legal I dare say.

Automated caller claimed to be from HMRC, about a warrant in my name for tax fraud. It told me to press 1 immediately or else I would be arrested.
I don't know anyone in Germany so god knows how they got my number but the thing is if it was important i get so many harassing calls everyday I don't answer anything i don't recognize.
