asking for different name everytime they call my mobile number but same voice or person

They have phoned 11 times over two days. Some finance company. I ve given them 9 due to the number of calls they have made.

The person knew my name and address BUT the wrong postcode - it was way off! As I said it was the wrong postcode they asked me for mine which I refused to give and told them as they had the wrong information I was not the person they needed.

They purport to be a government agency refunding bank fees. My belief is that they are scammers.

repeated calls asking for a person who has never lived at my address, started approx. 5 weeks ago over a dozen calls a day. Very annoyed !!!!!!

Had to call them back and cost over £11 to talk to them for 5 mins

Call looks like a normal YK mobile number but in search it indicates that the number originates in Ahmedabad in India. As I don t know anyone from or in India I can only assume that it is a call from some call centre or a scam or perhaps both. Treat with suspicion.

Caller says he's from Carphone Warehouse and they have a deal. I told them I'm not interested and requested to remove my number off their list. I've blocked the number now.

Cold call asking me if it was correct I had put in a claim with them for someone bumping into me on the street in the last two years(I hadn't). Comes from Strontian, Scotland.

I have just had a voice message say i will be taken to court if i did not get in contact with them . they gave me a case number. pressed one on my phone says the mailbox is full...

They knew my name and address, but asked for my age and said that my answers would help release new products. When I asked who they were I was told UK Preference. I asked for him to stay on the phone whilst I looked up the company on the internet he immediately hung up
