Found this missed call on my mobile, rang it back, but number invalid, now blocked it

Their salesman told me lies about getting Government Funding for my windows, and then duped me into giving him my number and subsequently taking an Appointment Card so he could get his commission. When I found this out, I blocked their number. Utterly disgusting.

I just had a call from this number too, claiming to be "D M Experts". The person he asked to speak to, Ben , does not exist on my number or at my address and I have been plagued with calls lately from some company claiming to be something to do with the Office of Fair Trading, who also always asks for Ben , but they have the sense to block their number. This company called and tried to take advantage of my 77 year old mother. When I rang to complain they hung up on me and when I called back and spoke to a manager, he was and I quote "I don t care what your think" Extremely unprofessional in the way they dealt with me and my complaint

Automated phone call telling me that there was unusual internet activity on my internet connection and I was about to be disconnected. To Press 1 to speak to an advisor, This comes on a day when my internet provider had informed me that they would be doing service upgrades in the area.

I keep getting calls from this number and they will not stop. Have reported to tops but nothing seems to stop this lot. Complete pests!!!!!

The caller new me by name asked me to answer 2 questions to win 5 pounds. Asked me if i used tv shopping channels.Then asked if I had bought anything in the last 6 months from qvc.Or he may have said bid tv,but thought it was qvc although research leads me to believe the same people regularly say its from bidtv. I think the caller can make money off people trying to call back? although i dont know. It could just be aggressive advertizing.

Seems dodgy because they pretend to be your supplier in order to get your meter readings but they do in fact work for just most if not all of the major energy suppliers and are totally legit
