Just called me regarding an attempted transaction to John Lewis. Said my account was ‘under attack’ and there had been several suspicious transactions. He said he would escalate my case to Level 3 fraud, set up a new account number and sort code with a random generated name. Phoned Santander fraud department who confirmed my account was safe - the scammer then called me back ‘No Caller ID’! so I told him in no uncertain terms that he was a scamming bastard and he could go forth and multiply.

Finance firm been pestering me daily for over a month. Tried asking them to stop in many polite ways, now I just tell them to **********. Before anyone tells me thats illegal. Iam 72 on a lot of medication I lost my wife to cancer because our oncology unit was closed for covid use and now my daughter is going the same way. I quoue from the text message: "Kevin attempted to deliver your parcel today but no one was home. Reschedule the delivery via: https://my-fedex-parcel-gb.com" - I have not ordered anything and the text was sent at 11pm and while I was home. I suspected a scam right away. I will NOT be clicking on that link in the text message.
