No idea who they are but charged over £800 on my O2 account! Not impressed at all. 02 took the payment of my bill.
I believe this to be a telephone/banking scam. They purported to be my bank but they said they wanted me to open another account and transfer money from my account into this other account - at that point I stopped the call and called the number on the back of my debit card and reported the call to my bank fraud department.

I repeated my question. She said "The RPA" or "The RTA". I asked if this was an official government agency and she said "Yes". I asked which part of government and she said "Yes". She said I need your name, I SAID NO, YOU CALLED ME SO YOU SHOULD KNOW MY NAME, THEN she hung up.
