A male with an Asian accent called saying the Glasgow Road Safety Authority had left a report in their accident book that I had ha an accident with vehicle number SB6262BFY QUOTING REFERENCE NUMBER 1592385848. Glasgow numbers begin 0141 and I told him I will report this SCAM

Scam HMRC tax rebate due to Covid. HMRC do not have my phone number so quite obvious. Avoid anything referring to Covid unless you know for absolute certain it is genuine. Also, remember Covid jabs are FREE. Dump anything that appears to ask for payment or similar details.

These guys have been onto me too, claiming i owe them, CSG for some child safety booklets - i sent a reply to their email with links to this and many other pages which they conveniently have not received . Claim they will get a manager to call me back to discuss in 3-4 days - funny that, if i was owed money, i certainly wouldnt wait 3-4 days to resolve the matter

Received an obscene call from this number this evening - young sounding guy with northern accent. He hung up when my husband asked him what he wanted. Fortunately I am too old and experienced to be upset by it, but someone else might not be. Nasty, since he asked for the previous subscriber for this line by name.
