Pre-recorded message claiming to be from BT but not sure why a British company would use someone ( or voice generation software) with a mid-Atlantic accent to deliver a message to a UK-based customer. Some rubbish about disconnecting my Internet if I don t follow instructions which, undoubtedly, would involve me in racking-up a huge phone bill, i.e. if press either 1 or 2 as instructed. I hung-up. A variation on the SCAM calls from India about problems with internet account.

Same thing happened twice to me yesterday

This number called me numerous times in the last few days but left no message. No idea who they are or what they want...nuisance!!

Had a missed call off this number on Monday at half past 4. Tried to call back, just got an automated voice saying 'inbound' then it went dead.

I note from other people that they want to stop the calls. Some phones have a 'block the caller' facility. I haven't found any other way of stopping them unless...

I was charged ?18 in June and a further ?30 in July for a series of texts (?6 per texts) on my mobile bill. EE, who is my mobile provider said they could not refund me the charges as they were from a 3rd party for services such as an entry in a prize draw, or a game download, which apparently I had requested, and as such they could not refund the charge. Beware. All nice and wants to send a FREE email but T&Cs state you have to cancel the subscription. If not it continues !

This company is a huge nuisance and should be fined. They do not screen against the TPS and do not remove people from the marketing list when asked. ALWAYS report this number to the Information Commisioner s Office. It is very say to do that on the ICO website. Because if enough people do that, they company will get a massive fine and hopefully be put out of business.

Called 8 times in last 7 days, calls every month usually the first two weeks of the month, Liverpool number has been reported numerous times on various caller ID sites as harrassment scam insurance accident claims and high cost premium rate phone number if you try to call back a deliberate missed call as they only let it ring once
