Amazon Prime phone scam, telling me that my account has been updated and to press 1 for cancellation and 2 for questions.
Long pause before anyone spoke, so I hung up. I suspect this might have been a call centre/spam/scam, but as I didn't speak to anyone I can't be sure.

Silent call, nobody there. Hung up a few seconds after I answered. Sounded like an office in the background.
SCAM / SPAM This must be a scammer as I had to go to voicemail to find out who it was and it is someone claiming to be from HMRC and asking me to press number keys for more information. This would most likely divert me to another number and leave me open to some kind of fraud. Number now blocked. If it really is HMRC they have my address and email address.

They then managed to trigger the Amazon reset password text message and pressured me to give me that code to them, presumably so that they could take control of my Amazon account. Recorded message from the 'Bank Security centre' (apparently one bank security centre for all the banks....) reporting unusual card activity, £300 to Amazon & £1000 internationally, press 1 to cancel, 2 to speak to operative... Fraudulent call, not sure where to report it though. This is an illegal call, criminals... You can listen to the recorded message and then report it please, on the website: actionfraud.police.uk
