Overseas noisy background call centre female claiming to be from ‘the technical department’ not a specific company just technical department. Red flags were didn’t know my name or address. I challenged her told her she was talking rubbish about being a technical department. I used a few choice profanities to which she called me a few! I asked her if those were technical terms and she hung up! Obvious scamming call. The call was at 08:45 on a Saturday.

Just another poor sod sitting in a cramped call-centre on minimum wage wanting to know if I d ever had PPI. I let the young lady drone on for a bit, dangling the carrot of a sale in front of her, lulling her into a false sense of hope, before hanging up. Nothing personal, love; I hope you find a proper job one day. Suspected bogus call today. No message left. Have had a number of calls but have never picked up . The numbers change when they are unsuccessful in getting through.
The caller was a man with a foreign accent. He started to tell me he was calling about my computer but I decided it was a scam, told him I wasn t interested, hung up and blocked the number. I do not generally answer numbers that I do not recognise but as it was 08.30, I thought it could be somthing important.

I just had a call from this number too, claiming to be "D M Experts". The person he asked to speak to, Ben , does not exist on my number or at my address and I have been plagued with calls lately from some company claiming to be something to do with the Office of Fair Trading, who also always asks for Ben , but they have the sense to block their number.
