This is my old phone number, I had it for like 8 years, I can't remember my new phone number, I can only remember this one, I've tried everything to get over this, I can't, in the morning and at night I think of this number. SCAM Claims to be from O2 and sends texts messages during the call requesting that you tell the caller the code that is in the message for a 40% discount. An obvious scam, reported to NCSC and O2 as it looks like they’re trying to scam users into giving O2 account passcodes which is fraud. Kept her talking long enough for her to become quite rude and call me a liar, I’m not even with O2 so not sure why they’d target me, certainly not an O2 employee anyway.

I must have had ten calls this last week from a company calling themselves UK Preference. Today s number used was 01612228888. The voice was an Indian male and was very persistent talking over me when I told him to take me off their calling list and to stop calling me. Claimed to be calling from O2, Indian call centre. Offering a 40% discount off my next bill, but could not tell me the name of the account holder. Hung up when I asked who he wanted to speak to. Said he'd send 2 text messages for me to activate the discount!!!!! Why if he was from O2, and I was with O2 he'd have my details and could active the discount automatically. Block this number.
"Natasha" from a claims company, she said that she had information saying I was in an accident that wasn t my fault... never been in any accidents, told her this and she promptly hung up the call. Blocked number and reported to TPS, unfortunately I didn t catch the company name.
