On TPS - phoned twice on Withheld Display. Asked to speak to supervisor and given this number. (They say they are telling you about Government Initiative for Energy saving.) You phone this number, to get name removed, and get no reply.

Telesales pitch to do with a holiday offer that had allegedly been emailed to me, that I hadn t responded to. Very dodgy.

This number keeps calling, when I answer there is laughter in the back ground. If I don't answer they hold on until the machine kicks then they laugh and have conversation...

Googled number in two halfs 02922 55201 instead of one long number and came up with ingletone in bute street cardiff. hope this helps.

Who called me?

Had phone call from this number today stating she was working on behalf of tv licence wanting me to clear the debt with her. I m very suprized to has gone tk debt agency after a month with ?31.50. I will be blocking number and will not pay anything to these it be direct to TV licene. As half hour later I got another call from 01772 221143 again same name she was asking for ebay debt which I don t owe any thing to very suspicious as it was both from Preston both named anika and also sounded same.

The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Obviously you were the ones they were looking for for them to steal your hard earned money from. This claims to be from Facebook but it was just a number and the location is Manchester/Burnley - this is not how FB normally sends 2 Factor ID. Is it a scam number?

Someone rang and left no message

I don't know who he is, he is trying to sell me a loan. He knows my name, and I don't trust this person.

This number has called my mobile several times this week (office hours)but no messages have been left. I called the number back today and it just went through to call waiting music as if on hold so I hung up immediatly. Had over ?3 on my my pay as you go phone but after ringing this number my credit had gone down to ?1.11. DON T TRUST THIS NUMBER AND DEFINATELY DON T PHONE IT!!

Postcode Lottery Scam call

missed call when i rang it back line just goes beep then cuts off. Bad sign - trustworthy companies have a recorded message explaining who they are, etc. Did a bit of research - very worrying. consumer websites show people being asked for their bank card details then fees being debited that they werent expecting. Sounds like a scam or at least very, very sharp practise. Avoid answering or block number, is my advice.
