Yet another boiler replacement automated message. The law states that they should have permission to make the call and also that they should identify themselves. They did neither of these things so I am going to report them to the ICO. I don t even have a boiler!

The following steps are suggested:

Called saying he was from Microsoft and I had a problem with my computer. When I repeatedly asked why he was calling he became very abusive. Caller had an Asian accent but knew some very offensive English words! I informed the police.

They are a training company that offers courses via learning direct or reeds. They are ok but just a little too persistent in phoning and nagging you to sign up to one of their ...

Very rude and pushy. Saying no thanks seems to enrage them further. Quote the telephone preference service and they ll soon back off.
