This number is being used for a scam. This number called claiming to be the bank & said two large payments had been drawn from my account- one for Amazon & one international payment . I ended the call without pressing any phone keys, then phoned my bank on a trusted number: they said my account was fine & the call had been a scam.

Asian accented guy called claimed to be from Virgin Media. Problem with my internet connection. Press the Windows key and type in certain things he'd show me and then fix it. I strung him along for a while. Supervisor tried the same. When I refused he said my internet connection would be switched off. I enjoyed our chat as while he was talking to me he couldn't be trying to con anyone else. He told me to f*** off. That confirmed he wasn't from Virgin as they don't usually end calls like that!

This number has come up 39 times and each time the person hangs up. Does he/she realise that by calling from the USA to UK is going to cost them as our line is low call for UK mainland and premium for International private callers. They are a central heating company. They will only call you if you have given them or a third party your telephone number.
Appeared to be usual tele-sales marketing call: answer phone and wait while caller connects to you instead of the dozen or so other numbers he is calling at same time. He eventually says "hello" - I say same and he immediately terminates the call. I suspect I was wrong gender. Just BLOODY RUDE!
