SCAM - Seems to be a call centre as noisy line. Tried to obtain bank details etc under false pretences, alleging an engineer from BT has detected problems on my home landline and that without rectification I could incur £+ costs but if remedial action is taken quickly charges may be reduced. I asked for their engineer and departmental details but got nowhere so advised would call BT myself and the caller rang off. One for OfCom and other authorities.
An Asian gentleman said he was from talk talk and needed to check my router. Asked for access to my PC which I reluctantly gave as he was able to give me part of my address and my talk talk account number. Offered me a refund of ?200 but I needed to access my bank account. He had control of my PC so I did not want to do this. Hung up on him as he was too persistent for comfort!!!
They call me at least twice a day even though I have answered before and told them I am not interested. Never leave a message. Just a nuisance
Claiming they tried to deliver parcel today I have been in all day... Have had many of these scam texts I never respond because they want you to pay for delivery of a non existent parcel ludicrous

Call centre - Claims to be from a 118 directory service. Asks to speak to the business owner. There is a pause after you answer before it connects so probably not actually from Aberdeen. Almost certainly a scam.

Claims to be from EE promotions, I thought it was true as I did recently ask EE to call me as I was in the realm for an upgrade. This number has been calling for month, plus this number has been ringing me sometimes right after each other and it is a nuisance sometimes 6 or 7 times a day.
