Third call. Getting tedious! Picked up call to receive a recorded message about saving money on gas and electric bills. Offered option of pressing number for details or to be removed. I hung up.

a lady said I had 5 free tickets for euro millions for tonight, I asked politely for my number to be renoved as im not interested. she then said" well its a chance to win free money, im pretty sure you would be interested if you actually listened to what im telling you" she was quite aggressive! I said im only interested in listening to her removing my number. her reply was " well you already said that, I can understand english you know. so no need to be so f***ing rude!" Enjoyed stringing him along, the man from First Response / MIB (Motor Insurance Bureau) I asked if he meant the Men In Black, as he was calling to see if my RTA had been sorted out, I asked which one he was referring to as I said I have had few LOL, he couldn t give the information he was referring to but said in the last 2.5 years. PPI claim company, said they got our details from a lifestyle survey but we never participate in these to avoid unwanted calls. Clearly lying, and from the number of people complaining I hope we ll see TPS/ICO take action and fine them.

The caller called no company name and required a man unknown to me. I told her that she would have been there probably dialed the wrong number and she said no, that is in my way on the list. I meant that their list is wrong then and hung up. Since then try it again and again.

It s another ppi claims company that will call you until you pick up the phone and express that you want to be taken off there calling list.

I received a call from a man with a very strong accent claiming to be from BT to help speed up our broadband. The fact that he greeted me saying ?hi I?m Martin? then 5 minutes later told me his name was John Wilson, was a huge red flag. I can confirm that this is a scam call number as I called the real BT to confirm the number was not affiliated with them. Do not give out any information or allow these scammers access to your computer!

I recieved a call from a company introducing themselves as Energy Helpline and stated that they were looking to help me out on my Home Phone and Broadband bills. They convinced me to switch to another provider and that I had to pay an amount upfront for an activation fee? Is this normal? Then they stated they had a power cut as soon as I gave those details and they then had to ring me back? Sounds suspicious if you ask me, it has been an hour now. What is happening???

Same as above, had a call claiming to refund bank charges, hung up straight away - person spoke broken english and sounded like a large call room in some 3rd world shit hole
