Accident claim company - calling claiming that I had been in a car accident and that they could help me make a claim. Liars.

I usually tell them I was born in 20th Apr 1889.. My name? Adolf Hitler..works every time

Call my mobile 2 to 3 times a day .When I did answer it went dead .now I see the number and don't pick up.

This was a missed call on my wife's mobile which neither of us recognise. Any ideas?

Had 9 calls on Tuesday, I didn t answer as i d left my phone at home. Answered the 3rd call on Wednesday, Guy asking for Bank details to set up contract for phone. Told him I m not legally allowed a contract, He replied - give me your details and i ll check if I can help - I hung up! VERY DODGY!!!!!

I note from other people that they want to stop the calls. Some phones have a 'block the caller' facility. I haven't found any other way of stopping them unless...

Called 8 times in last 7 days, calls every month usually the first two weeks of the month, Liverpool number has been reported numerous times on various caller ID sites as harrassment scam insurance accident claims and high cost premium rate phone number if you try to call back a deliberate missed call as they only let it ring once

got 2 calls in the space of half an hour from this number, claiming to be from Microsoft and that my "Windows computer" has downloaded a virus without my knowledge. Not according to my a/v software, which is active on all the windows machines at home. Usual scam, supply a credit card number which will get fleeced, but more worryingly they will ask for control of your windows computer to download that very virus they were talking about to your machine.

Renewal date on phone contract has arrived. BuyMobiles.net is where I bought my last contract from - so their own internal system has triggered a follow up call.

It is the student services office at preston college.

Has called 3 times over the last few weeks no one there when you call back. After first call have stopped trying to answer when I see the number and do not call back

I had a call from 01228919076 the male on the phone said he was from Dragon home insurance. He asked me who my home insurance is with. When I said that is my business he hung up...

This number called me numerous times in the last few days but left no message. No idea who they are or what they want...nuisance!!

now this number is used by some one stock broker...who is using to for investment things and like that.

Called saying he was from Microsoft and I had a problem with my computer. When I repeatedly asked why he was calling he became very abusive. Caller had an Asian accent but knew some very offensive English words! I informed the police.

Another pest, line went dead when I picked up the phone. This is an unwanted intrusion and should be made illegal. Wouldn t be surprised if it s an autodialler looking for live numbers, then they sell the number on.

No message left on my answer machine. I did not respond. I’ve received several dubious calls from Wales numbers recently, cannot understand why.
