Possible scam. Women said she was from Amazon and they'd noticed unusual activity on my Mum's account. Told her to press 1 if she hadn't bought something for £700. Mum was suspicious, rang off, got the number by dialing 1471 then rang it back. Women who answered refused to give her name and said she hadn't called Mum and didn't work for a company.

This appears to be a scam to obtain credit card details for illegal purposes. We called the number and was immediately asked for our credit card number, but NOT WHICH CREDIT CARD NUMBER, which raises concern over legitimacy, as we have several cards, so which one would we use?

Now They have been calling me about my website. The Indian guy said that they were a Internet Company and his manager made him to call me because my website has been marked as dangerous. After that the same guy called me from +61871001312.

They called my landline at 8.49am (automated at first) pretending to be AMAZON to say I'm about to be charged £39.99 for my AMAZON PRIME subscription which i don't have and have never signed up for, but to cancel it i need to be on my device and they would talk me through it on-line. This number has been calling my house phone repeatedly throughout the whole day. When i answer and dont say anything they hung up. I answered and they had my surname and asked for 30 seconds to answer some questions.. I said who is calling, they said Future Trends. I said i do not want to take part and they hung up! Idiots

I keep getting an automated voice saying it is Amazon and someone has bought an iPhone 11 from my account and to press the numbers to pay or cancel the order. I haven’t ordered this phone.
I was called from this number approx. 5,00pm this evening, and answered to a recorded female message advising me that my Amazon Prime account had expired, and that a charge of £95 would be made to automatically renew it. As I do not have a Prime account, I did not listen any further to the message, which I suspect was going to advise me to press a digit on my phone, to speak to an adviser, from where details of my Bank Account would be required!! I hung up halfway through the message.

Alleged not a sales call and only wanted 60 seconds of my time. Had the same call the previous day wanting to know if I was house owner, age etc. When challenged they hang up.
