Silent call, on ringback got answer machine.

Was called today at 15:01 by someone stating they were Falcon & Pointer. My number is unlisted plus I signed up for TPS years ago. I am sick to death of these illegal calls.

Don t trust this number - subtle scam

Number rang my mobile, I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. I'm guessing it's PPI or some other cold calling number.

Called me numerous times today, answered once and no one spoke.

call from lady first then a gent with non english tongue saying my pc was running slow they could fix this problem for me. I said no and had 19 more calls even tho i have blocked the number. scam

Repeated calls over a period of a month. Then switched to UNKNOWN number and continued to call. Each caller was direct and rather nasty. When I called them up on the fact they got rather hostile and continued to call.

indian sounding lady called today, used my "nickname" that I don t use professionally, said that she was calling from Microsoft and that the technical team had noticed a problem with Windows on my computer. When I said I was an IT graduate with several years of support experience and that her story did not add up, and that she was calling from Watford where Microsoft do not have an office, she strangely put the phone down on me!

Smart Alec who lies, saying he spoke to another member of staff last week who didn t know much (back handed compliment) Trying to sell I.T. programs and associated bits. Just mention the Telephone Preference Scheme and the half million pounds fine if he continues. It works.

This number called today and I didn t have time to Google it before answering. Said they were from American Express, only asked for half my postcode and they knew the type of card I held and how long I have had it. He was trying to sell an identity/credit rating protection (Platinum protect plus I believe). He was polite, when I said I wasn t interested he was pleasant. This is a SCAM number: Female voice says HMRC are launching a lawsuit against you and to press one to talk to a case officer. HMRC do not use recorded calls from mobile numbers: they write. These scammers try to get you to pay them. Block it!

Indian voice called me asking for my Insurance number, saying that my NI is under investigation and there are criminal activities attached to my NI number. Wanted my NI and address. When I refused and ask to be sent a letter call was disconnected. Tried to call back but phone switched off
