Thanks for the advice. They have been calling me twice a day for three weeks now. I have also now blocked their number!

I received an email from this same guy called Tony yesterday afternoon. I suspected the email straightaway. I called the number, went to a recorded advert, I quickly cut the call off after 1min 22secs. It is a scam!!!! Please beware of this guy and/or related tricks.

Called me on my mobile, I didn t recognise the number so I didn t answer. No message left. Suspect telemarketer.

Twice today called, say they are Locum ID and that someone in my home has worked in a hazardous environment.

Same thing as previous comments but different company name

When I answered, a recorded message said they were able to advise on how to wipe up to 70% of debt "just press 5 to be connected" .... I hung up !

No idea why these people think they can ring at 9pm with a silent call even when I have never heard of them, have no debt and my number is ex directory.

Call Centre claiming, by shouting in bad English to be Worldpay. I slammed the phone down.

Received 3 calls 2 via voicemail contacting me about TEFL in China, said they got my details off a jobsite. I m not by any stretch a TEFL person.

I got my fifth call from this number today around 8 (I m with emobile and never answer it), they left a voicemail just saying hello and hung up. Seems suspicious

Automated voice purporting to be from my internet provider, informing me that my internet will be terminated in 24 hrs please press 1 to speak to our , at this point I hung up.

these people phone at least twice a day (sometimes more) and ask for 'mr firkin'. ive asked for my number to be taken off there list but the calls keep coming.

Rang off quickly, probably trying to get people to call back.

Pensions advice aparrantly

Uses various Claims Advice Helpline type names. Lies about links to your insurance company and has illegally bought details of a previous claim. Tries to claim more money is due you - complete scam. Ambulance chasers.

Started leaving text s on my mobile saying they need to contact me about a personal business matter, then an hour on the dot later 2 phone calls from this number 10 mins apart. They then make a further 2 calls at about 6pm EVERYDAY for the last 2 weeks. I don t owe any debt to anyone so they can go root themselves scumbags. They don t even use my name in the texts and no letter has arrived but they seem to be putting a lot of man hours in to getting hold of me. Well they ll be trying for a long damn time I

PPI/Bank Charges claim company. Latest one is Endowment Policies. Aside from just hanging up, I find the best course of action with these guys is to just lie to them. Give them made-up details so they waste their time with fruitless nonsense. Tell them you paid PPI on a Swiss bank account with ?10m in funds given to you by a Nigerian prince. Keep calm and tell absurd lies, and this kind of call actually starts to be a lot of fun!

PPI - Called mobile, knew my surname. asked if i d ever made a claim on PPI. As per Bob L comment - seem like PPI spammers trying their luck.

This is a scam. Talk Talk confirmed, investigating & blocking it. They also use 01420 832635
