02477220378 called me 10:20 am Tuesday 24 Aug 2021. It rung twice, and before I had time to get to my phone, they had rung off. As I don't know anyone in Coventry, conclude that it's a call centre or scammer.

Automated message saying from BT and there has been fraudulent activity on my account. If I do not press one now my telephone line and broadband will be cut off!!!!! As my broadband is not even with BT this would be quite difficult for them!!!! When are these people going to realise we are not all stupid???

This is a debt collection company. Often long term or aging debt is sold and the purchasing collection agency makes profit by aggressively chasing that debt. They use any data they can get to bug you typically to begin with by using automated dialers and recorded style messages. They do not check the age of the data or if they do they ignore it. Same experience. Voice recording of a supposed Maisie Wilkinson. I said yes to accident and was transferred to what sounded like a call centre in India. They told me they were UK based and when i asked for their registered company number they hung up.

This number and the following number; 07404235048 keeps phoning me (so far 5 times today) and a recorded message says that they are from BT and we have had a security breach with our phone line and broadband and that they are going to turn us off and trying to get us to press a button to respond to them. We are not even with BT!!! DON'T trust these phone numbers.
I called back and it cut off. Presume it's a nuisance call.
