This is a call from a firm called UK Pensions Review offering a free no obligation review of your pension. The call is triggered by a call centre in India and after a short chat with the agent there you get put through to a UK 'consultant' who talks more about a no obligation review of your pension with some worrying scaremongering stats. eg 4.0% AMC on your pension plans and recent reforms in pensions etc etc. There have been no significant reforms that would require a firm such as this to cold call people

Automated call - supposedly from Amazon notifying that they are renewing my Amazon Prime - had another one of these a month ago though, so a bit dubious - didn't press any numbers as will renew or cancel online thanks!

This American male calls night after night to a business number and asks for a service that they offer, but then states that their situation is so top secret that they can't share what it is that they want. They then say suddenly that they have to go and they put the phone down. Initially withheld their number. Very odd behaviour and comes across as rather off balance. This is probably stalking/harassment, but it's to an unknown business.

No message is left, and when I dialled the number from a landline to check caller's identity, a prerecorded message kicked in, advising that 'all agents are busy just now' and inviting me to leave my phone number for a call back. This phone number (01202137404) is from a representative of HomeLogic, a company that sells and installs LogicFoam loft insulation. It is quite safe and is not a scam. It's a cold call that tries to persuade you to install this type of loft insulation i.e. spray foam. The caller said that it's part of a Government initiative to supply every home in Britain with this type of insulation. However, I don't believe this - I suspect that this is just salesman's patter.
