SCAM This automated call purports to be from LLOYDS BANK FRAUD DEPT reporting fraudulent activity on a credit card, they ask you to press any number to be put in touch with their team. IT IS A SCAM The person they named left here over 9 years ago and has updated her contact details with LLOYDS each time she moved. The question I would like answered is if LLOYDS know they have detected fraudulent activity on a card, why don’t they stop it?

SCAM left voicemail. When listened to it just said press 1 if you didn't make the payment. No mention of the company payment was made to or how much was paid etc. No introductions to their name or company name. Definitely a scam. Beware! don't press 1, it sounds fishy

Rang four times a day for the last few days. Rang the number back after coming up clear on google. Got automated message saying I was rang by 1st Call Group. The number is a Manchester number but based in South Africa, which is suspicious to start with. Looking at their client list on their website, includes many PPI companies, Ambulance chasers, and other undesirables.

Called by this number, I answer they don’t speak. I call back and get absused. I am registered for TPS but it doea nothing to block these ignorant call centre jobsworths. This number seems to be used by some call centre - I can see very similar numbers reported, all the same range just with last digits different. A common thing - telemarketing mostly uses a range of similar numbers. This one is mostly reported with PPI, insurance marketing, RTA - accident chasers, sometimes called themselves "First Call Group" - just another big call centre. Just block it or block the range, I have been using the mobile application from these pages, works fine, no problems. Blocked

We've had numerous scam calls in one day (from this number and others all in a short period) claiming to be from various utilities or directory listing companies trying to get details from our company about providers and meters, etc. One man used profanities at me and another shouted and both hung up when I confronted them.
The caller dropped immediately I picked the phone, this is annoying.
