Just received a call from this number. Answered it, as I wondered who in San Antonio, Texas would be calling me. A very English lady in a recorded message said she was calling about PPI(!) Utter time wasters.

A man with an Indian accent claiming to be from British Telecom and wanting to speak to a manager. Very elaborate work scam. This phone number will text saying there is a position in a US company to optimise apps. The website seems legit but once you do all they say. They will ask you to send them money to unblock the cryptomomey. Dont do it and report it.

'Jane calling from British Gas' (yeah, right!). She asked if I was Mrs (my wife), then was I still using British gas or Southern Electric. 'No'.'Do you have E.on or (another)?' 'No - why do you want to know?' She asked what I had said and when I repeated it she hung up. Obviously their script doesn't run to answering that question!
