Received a phonecall from this number yesterday claiming they were Vodafone. I'm not a Vodafone customer. He asked me what my current tariff was and proceeded to aggressively hard sell me a Vodafone equivalent (which was no better than my current one!!) He was a truly horrible person with disgusting telephone manner. He got all huffy and sulky when I said I was not interested and said he didn't understand why I wasn't interested. Keep getting calls from this number claiming to be some sort of recruitment agency, caller speaks in what seems to be an indian accent. Call line quality is very poor and when challenged to repeat what they say they become somewhat rude and agitated in their responses.

4 Scam. Received a text supposedly from EE saying they've given me extra points, the points will expire in 3 working days and to click the link to claim them. I clicked the link because the text looked genuine. Upon clicking the link it stated I had 5400 points. All the items were cheap looking and cost £0.1+5000points. Clicked on an item then had to fill in my details then card details which I did not give. Looked on EE website where it stated that it was a scam. So I reported it to 7726 and block the num

Seems to be used for some call centre working for financial companies - similar numbers are reported with PPI and financial offers/loans, all the same 020347658xx range of numbers. Block it if not interested. I have been using the ShouldIAnswer mobile application from these pages, works fine, can stop such calls and also a range of numbers (wery usefull for call centres). No problems.

Put the phone down as soon as you answer.
