Had call from "Steven" claiming to be from BT, very similar to one I had last week, told him as such, and that I had checked out the last one with BT and he hung up whilst I was mid-sentence. If in any doubt call BT and they can tell you when you were last contacted by them, although they don t seem to be bothered about doing anything about these nuisance scam calls.
They took ages before they spoke, when I said nobody here had been in an accident, a rude, cockney girl shouted at me and then rung up.. I am fuming !!

I have managed to confirm that calls from this number are from a company debt management company called Stephenson Drake (www.stevensondrake.com. They operate by automated cold calling your number. You will either hear silence or a message asking if you are having problems with debt. If you press 5 to speak to someone then you are cut off BUT your number is stored and you will receive a follow up call from them. SPAM. i made the mistake of signing up to some investment ting apparently and now i get calls all the time. this number is particularly bad. they refuse to stop calling and are incredibly rude. i am blocking each number they use systematically but it is very annoying. i have said i am not interested but that doesn't seem to stop them. do yourself a favour and decline and block immediately.
