Guy calling himself Michael keeps calling my mothers home and telling her she is owed over ?3000 and to call this number.I have told her it is a scam so now she justs plays dumb and has a nice chat with him until he hangs up.

Rang my mobile briefly and then stopped. No message left. Probably trying to tempt me into calling them back. An unknown number and unsolicited. I ve recently had calls of this type daily around the same time and they re always from telemarketers or accident claims hawkers, so draw your own conclusions about this one. This number has rang several times per day for 3 weeks and never leaves a message. When you answer you can hear someone breathing and background noise but no one speaks. Beware. Very fishy.

They phoned my mobile and left no message. When I called back later, a message said something like "There was a problem connecting your call" Sounds a bit dodgy to me.

A PPI company representative phoned me with a cold call

Too long a pause to wait for an answer. After I received this call my virus protector warned me that my computer was connected to an unsafe wi-fi link. It definitely had been OK before. I don t know if there was any connection between these things but I would check your wi-fi after receiving it to be on the safe side

This company are based in Brighton and are trying to get you to make charitable donations to various charities.... As I already donate to a charity of my choice I do not wish to be bothered by these types of calls. I m also signed up with TPS so shouldn t get them anyway... I found their direct number which is 01273 698697 and asked them to remove both my numbers from their database... Lets see what happens...

I keep receiving calls from this number despite blocking it - they sometimes phone up to five times a day! They always ask for Andrew, the idiot who must have mistyped his mobile number when downloading a report or who knows what from this "financial" crowd. I ve asked them politely to remove my number from their database ... to no avail. I ve said I m going to report them to the police if they keep calling me, which usually makes them put down the phone if I don t beat them to it!

I have just been called by this number who immediately wanted to take me through security! All sounded very legit but just something in the back of my mind made me think that anyone could call up and start asking for my date of birth etc etc and why would I give that info to a complete stranger!!! I told them they needed to write to me instead (he said they already had - ha, ha) and then put the phone down. Looked up this number and guess what - loads of people who have had calls from the same number!
