SCAM This purported to be Amazon with an account query. Unfortunately they called a number that is not registered on our Amazon account.
I rang the number back and it says Congratulations u have won an Ipad just for calling us back, please press number 2 to speak to an adviser so we can get it shipped out to u! I put the phone down. x

Second that. A scammer line which said they are an energy company and need to take down my details for payments - have not even signed a tenancy agreement with my landlord yet, very creepy that they know I am thinking of moving to a new business premises without me even signing anything yet!

Yet another call from 'Chris' the supposed local energy adviser. This is our 11th call all from similar phone numbers 01202159??? with the last 3 digits different each time. Two weeks ago I politely told him I was ex directory, registered with TPS and wasn't interested in what he was selling. I wasn't so polite this morning. When challenged he couldn't get off the phone quick enough. He has used the same phone number ending; 092,099,141,142,149,152,153,156,160,293 and 295. Bad reviews on all these numbers.

Constant harassment from this company, they call at least once a day despite being told we are not interested, sometimes twice a day. Swore at them this time.
Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 2071934xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with robocalls, classical insurance marketing - "have you been in a car accident"

Automated call with female voice for the 2nd time in 2 days. She claims to be from BT informing me of suspicious activity and that I risk disconnection (and I've had a few of these before from various other numbers). I'm not even with BT Internet, therefore it MUST be a SCAM!

People this is wild :). Seems to be some call centre working for multiple clients (or fake companies), similar numbers of the same range 016185401xx are already reported with life insurance, car accident chasers, financial management (debts, loans, pensions) - companies Legal Advice, QTS... I have been using the ShouldIAnswer mobile application from these pages, works fine, can stop such calls and also a range of numbers (very useful for call centres). No problems.
