Caller said she was from Faversham (01795)? She wanted to sell advertising, when I declined she then called me with dropped call 10 times!

My wife answered and a recorded message said it HMRC and that they had a case against us. She tried phoning back, but it was a pre recorded message again. This is utter rubbish....

Had a call asking for me by name, said that they had got my PPI back for me. They know the bank that I had dealt & asked if I had a account with them now, told them no had new one, they asked which, I told them the first one that came into my head. Asked what type I said saving one, asked about insurance, said don t want any. They put phone done.

I ve received 3 calls from these idiots - two I failed to answer but after reading posts on sites like this decided, for my own amusement, to answer on the third call. The chap on the other end rambled on about insurance and said he was from a company called Red Star. When I asked who Red Star were he got quite abrupt/aggressive. A man (in a noisy office) wantimg me to get free cavity wall & loft insulation through the goverment scheme. When i told them i had my loft done in 2007 they said id need it doing again. Just another poor sod sitting in a cramped call-centre on minimum wage wanting to know if I d ever had PPI. I let the young lady drone on for a bit, dangling the carrot of a sale in front of her, lulling her into a false sense of hope, before hanging up.
