I quoue from the text message: "Kevin attempted to deliver your parcel today but no one was home. Reschedule the delivery via: https://my-fedex-parcel-gb.com" - I have not ordered anything and the text was sent at 11pm and while I was home. I suspected a scam right away. I will NOT be clicking on that link in the text message.
This number has dialled my number 7 times in the past 3 weeks. I was overseas on holiday in South America at the time and so glad I had disabled my voicemail! I believe this may be the Postcode Lottery. I joined up for a while about 18 months ago. When I unsubscribed they kept calling me so I asked them to stop or I would report them for harassment. Wanted to talk about my life insurance policy but said it was an "AIG policy" which it isn't. When questioned on this he repeated the same thing once and then stealthily changed it to say he was working with my provider and AIG. Double checked and the two companies don't appear related. He then started on the spiel where he called it a personal policy which it isn't. Let him continue to waste his time and then told him the truth when he asked at which point he hung up on me. Total scam BS.
Keep receiving calls from this number. No one on the other end and very annoying. Starts in the morning and continues throughout the day.
