Telemarketing. Person says they got your number and e-mail address from previous on-line stock market activity and subscription to their service. Treat with great suspicion!

Scam indian/pakistani/bangladeshi caller pretending to sell electricity and gas. They don't know a lot about either so they are just gathering details in the hope of profiling you. Several calls today, i managed to make one last 37 mins whilst i did other things. That is 37 other calls they couldn't make. RESULT

SCAM. Claiming to be Virgin Media saying that my router is sending error messages to their server. This is utter tosh and rot - my router does nothing of the sort! And I think theca centre staff might actually believe that are being employed by Virgin. Cancelled a subscription last week. They tried to dissuade me but in the end accepted i was resolute in my decision. They called today as i found out from googling the number. As soon as i answered the call was ended. Unsure what reason they would have to be phoning me a week after i have cancelled my subscription.
I ve had a lot of harassing calls today, each time from a different number, this is the latest one, have been blocking them all.

SCAM - On answer a strident recorded message tells you that "A criminal tax fraud case has been lodged against you". I didn't bother listening to the full message - I heard enough to know it was a pathetic criminal trying to scare people into handing them either personal data or money.
