I am receiving calls from this number every single work day, sometimes in the early evening and more than once a day. The first one was an obvious sales call and now I leave the answer phone on. There is never any messages left, but as we work nights I don't need calls during the day. Why is cold calling not illegal?

This is the very latest in a long line of nuisance calls from a similar Sheffield number. No message left when they encounter call handling.
This number has just called the home phone and spoken to my partner. My partner had filled out some online surveys recently which was about gaining free samples etc. This was mentioned over the call and then offered him £20 worth of petrol or diesel vouchers, but would need his bank details over the phone to pay for postage. My partner was chatted to the person right up until this point... then stated with all due respect, as much as I would love the vouchers, I never have or will give my bank details out
Impressive customer service I had problems with a meter that was not working which meant I had no electricity for workmen who were meant to be working on the site. Pete, the manager, worked tirelessly to fix the problem. He called me when he said he would on more than one occasion and went way beyond the call of duty. They call to say I issues with my BT broadband but then got VERY abusive when i told him my number was registered with tps and he was breaking the law and that I was wasting his time as he was mine. I m a "Richard Head" and a "female dog" amongst other names.
DO NOT answer the call. They don t need to have a conversation with you, just toknow the line is active. They find this out by you answering. They then sell your details and number on to other advertisers and brokers.
