SCAM they call and say it is HM revenue ans put pressure on you. In one scenario they say you haven't decmare your taxes for the last few years there for you have to pay an amout of many. ( i have been asked to pay 4300 pounds for 4 years of not declaring my income) Please be aware and don't give any details of your bank. Always ask for a claim in writing and make sure they are who they say they are. If in doubt call back not on the number you been called from but to an official number of the service.
SCAM - addressed me by my name and verified my address. The lady basically said that my fibre-glass wool loft insulation is no longer valid and they in my area tomorrow doing surveys in the neighbouring roads. I said that I was in the property business and I have not heard of this and I would need to look into it. And guess what he phone went dead. How rude, not even a goodbye.

Had a call tonight with the recorded voice "drone - 70% debt - drone - press 5" so I did - got the name of the company the person was representing informed him of the TPS and their legal requirement to not call me. Was asked if I was using a script - said no in lounge at home - please remove my number and hung up. I ve just registered the number with the TPS as unsolicited/intrusive call. Also had the same recorded voice on calls with no number or "Overseas" displayed by the CLI.

This is one of the numbers that pretends to be from the UKBA to fool international students in the UK and tell them there is something wrong with their imigration application. They have parts of your data (maybe name, zip-code etc.) and they try to get ALL of your information plus your credit card details. Do not give that information!
