TAXES / HMRC this is a scam caller, I dont know if they have targeted anyone else, they phoned my boyfriend pretending to be HMRC and that there was something wrong with one of his books and that he needed to press 1 and carry on to an advisor etc. We have contact HMRC about this and they are fully aware that this kind of phone call is happening. We tried to phone the nunber back but it does a long beep and then hangs up, which we a reckoning it is an actual scam machine that dials random phone numbers

SCAM - loft insulation. Asked where he got my number from, apparently it was related to the home improvements that I had had done. He said his manager will give me more information when he rings me back. All lies, haven’t done any.

I'm not sure if this number is a scam or not because my card had stopped working the day before, but would always recommend if you need to contact the bank then google what their phone number is and ring that one, NOT the number a message asks you to call (for coop bank it should be 0345 721 2212)

I have been receiving several calls a week from this number to my mobile phone, home number and office number. They either say they are from "Trading Banks" or a market research company in Taiwan. Either way, you know it s a scam. I like to have fun with them. They have all been Filipino until today where the caller was of African descent. Claiming to be BT, saying getting reports that my router/internet speed is not as it should be. Spoken English with strong foreign accent.....said something very garbled and fast followed by OK Repeated, when I told him I had not been able to understand what he was saying. Same thing happened on 2nd time of not understanding.....but this time he hung up. Suspect not BT at all.
Call center Was a very persistent man who spoke so quickly I couldn't understan who he said he worked for (even after I asked him to repeat himself more slowly ) saying he could save me money on my phone mobile phone and constantly asked how much I was paying. Told him I wasn't interested and he continued to ask the same thing. Not told him if I wanted to do something about my phone and bills I would so so myself and he still continued. I eventually hung up on him when he was still asking for how much.

This same number called me in the past three days- 17th 18th and 19th July - I can't call the number back( from 1741) - get a constant tone.
