I recieved a call and as the gentleman above it appeared to be a prank call and ater a few seconds the call was ended by the "caller". Unknown caller as yet.
Tried to ring back - but - unobtainable so probably a scam call

Cold call from telemarketing company based in Manchester claiming to be 02 Partner. Told to fxxk xff and not call me again. Also blocked number on phone but my call logs showed they continued to ring me. Pig stupid or what.
I have been receiving several calls a week from this number to my mobile phone, home number and office number. They either say they are from "Trading Banks" or a market research company in Taiwan. Either way, you know it s a scam. I like to have fun with them. They have all been Filipino until today where the caller was of African descent. For mac uses Spotlight to launch console - didn’t run with it any further. Caller does know the name accociated with the phone number. Caller has strong asian accent with a regular uk name.

Received call out of the blue. Said they were from BT. Said there was a problem with my line & wanted to sort it, after 19 mins the line went dead. They wanted me to download an app, using Google store to check my tablet device ID.

Numbers starting with 07989544___ keep calling my mobile phone. I answered once and there seemed to be an automatic hang-up.
They call to offer energy and apparently they can t understand the word no. They continuously called me so I had to put the number into my blacklist. Beware of this kind of unsolicited calls!

SCAM - clearly someone trying to get info about bank details. Rang pretending to be from my bank - starts with an automated message stating a large amount of money has been requested from account & if not authorised, press 1. Person then answers but does not know name/details etc & tries to get you to give details. Be really careful with this number - clearly fraudsters/scammers.

Scam - claiming to be from BT and about to cut off landline and internet
Well, they phoned earlier and a recorded message informed me, that it was my banks security department, which it obviously wasn't, the number trace showed a call the Russian Federation, RED FLAG. She said, Somebody has accesed your account and made a £600 purchase fron Amazon and a £2,000 transfer to an international account, RED FLAG I politely told her to stop trying t scam people and she immediately hang up, basically, our phone providers should block these calls, as we are paying to receive them!
