SCAM - On answer a strident recorded message tells you that "A criminal tax fraud case has been lodged against you". I didn't bother listening to the full message - I heard enough to know it was a pathetic criminal trying to scare people into handing them either personal data or money. Chap said there was a four figure sum waiting for me after my recent accident. As I have not had an accident I told him so, hung up and blocked the number. Must be a scam
Contacted regarding my amazon account and large order to being placed by I-phone. When asked what the order was for the caller became evasive and just said that it was for £737. When amazon orders were checked no such order had been placed and and no communication made. I consider this number dangerous.

Asian accented guy called claimed to be from Virgin Media. Problem with my internet connection. Press the Windows key and type in certain things he'd show me and then fix it. I strung him along for a while. Supervisor tried the same. When I refused he said my internet connection would be switched off. I enjoyed our chat as while he was talking to me he couldn't be trying to con anyone else. He told me to f*** off. That confirmed he wasn't from Virgin as they don't usually end calls like that!

Fraud/Scam Supposedly HMRC have issued a warrant for my arrest and for me to press 1 on the keypad to speak to someone. Robotic voice just reading some low life's script and then once complete it waits for you to do something and if you do nothing i.e. press 1, it hangs up.
Automated voice mentioned something about owing Amazon £300 pounds, at which point i immediately hung up.
