A person called from this number and he said performing survey on behalf of my company and asked me few questions about my work. I found it very suspicious

They had called me on about 6 previous occasions before i answered. Said they were from BT and E and had taken over EE who were my service provider and could offer me discounted calls . I asked if they were already my service provider why weren't they discounting me anyway. They then got round to asking me if I used a landline for making business calls. Not clear what the purpose of the call was and have blocked them.
