These people repeatedly call phishing for information stating that they are calling about a car accident. Maybe some poor souls they call talk about an accident they may/ may not have had and pass on personal details. It appears to be a scam and the only way to avoid them calling is to block their number. They called my number >10 times over past 6 months and have never taken it off their system. FYI I was never in a car accident.

Tells me I have been identified has having and industrial injury and wants to act on my behalf. I have never had such an injury. The caller uses a Merthyr Tydfil dialling code but on interrogation turns out to be a call centre in Liverpool. I explain I am a member of TPS and don t wont to be cold called. Same call the next day!.

I received a call from this number just now. He said he was from a company called Technical Help Service and told me my computer had a virus. He tried to convince me using various methods including running the eventvwr (the errors listed there are not related to viruses!) This is identical to the well known Windows Technical Helpdesk scam. Whoever they are they keep phoning my mobile and when I don't answer they immediately call from a similar number. They are very slow to take the hint!

Had a call from 01497 874850. From BT Openreach regarding untrustworthy downloads from Facebook / Google. Wanted me to connect to a page on internet to check security has not been compromised. When challenged (ie no problems noticed, I would not connect to any page while on the phone - I would contact BT myself), they hung up. Obvious telemarketing / scamming.
