Claimed to be my local energy advisor, for once they are local to me. Asked if I was the homeowner, when asked where he got the information from, said there was a data base of all work carried out at this address. If there is then I did not authorise my data being entered or used. GDPR? Suspect they wanted to carry out an "energy survey" and would come up with a very expensive improvement package, which probably would not be needed.

Picked up yet another call from this number, just to get a shrieking tone in my ear.
Claimed to be Visa ringing about fraudulent transactions on my account. First warning sign - Didn't know who I was. They should know whose account the transactions were on Second warning sign - As far as I'm aware Visa don't contact people direct, your card issuer will contact you. So it would have been Lloyds, Halifax, barclaycard, etc
I got my fifth call from this number today around 8 (I m with emobile and never answer it), they left a voicemail just saying hello and hung up. Seems suspicious

ABSOLUTE C*NTS! Called me regarding work on my website. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. The caller mentioned a number of lapses in my website which they could fix as part of their ?400 package, including Google ranking etc. Rather than taking her word for it, I tested these so called lapses on a friend s mobile device which contradicted everything she was saying. Following a search on GoCompare your details are passed to these guys who call offering a better quote and ask you to hold the line while they transfer you to another company who has no idea who you are. I guess they get kick backs for getting you there.
SCAM - Automated call saying they were from the crime investigation unit and that my NI number and Personal file has been flagged as illegal and that I must press 1 to go through to a call centre otherwise a warrant would be issued for my arrest.

SCAM / SPAM claims he works in the army but has stolen the pictures and videos of a Scottish guy who does infact work in the army but it’s not this guy. May go by the name of Andrew Harrison or any other name now but the pictures he’s using is of a brown haired, blue eyed tattooed guy who works as a para. Gives to story of wife died, or girlfriend cheated on him with best friend or that his dad died in the army and left his mother to bring him up.
If you a BT phone put in 1572 option 1 it will block future calls you need to press the 1 two times but instructions given on phone to block
