These must be calling every number in the phone book at the moment, had several missed calls over two days.
It's a Madingley number, I don't know anyone from this area. I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognise, I just let them go to the answering machine...
This number continually calls claiming to be Scottish Power, who want payment for a final bill. Every call quotes a different figure due. At no point can they tell you the address to which this scam is referring to, but the do try to get you to confirm your address to them. The become agitated and aggressive once they realise that you know it is a scam.

Gruff sounding guy claiming to be from Vodafone. Knew my name. I’d been chosen to receive better broadband. Didn’t sound like Vodafone customer service at all. Asked if I was the owner of property, could tell he was going to ask for my full details. Which I didn’t give. He got annoyed with me when I didn’t disclose any info. Sounded like a scam or fishing for my details.

These maggots keep calling-every few weeks. They claim to be 00Z Group-operating out of Lichtenstein . Despite me telling them the same each time they call-- that I am not interested in trading on stock markets, and have not traded for over 20 years!! Today they claimed that--as a colleague had called me a few months ago-somehow that uninvited cold call meant that I was interested!...bizarre! Supposedly from Microsoft wanting to know if I was the main user of the computer? When I asked why he said they have been getting a lot of notices and that my security software was being corroded. He asked when I'd last used the computer and when I said it was none of his business he said **** off a****** and hung up!
