Not a local number think it s a cost trap don t answer!!

Called saying he was from Microsoft and I had a problem with my computer. When I repeatedly asked why he was calling he became very abusive. Caller had an Asian accent but knew some very offensive English words! I informed the police.

An asian gentleman calling himself John began with telilng me that I am receiving unwanted data on my compter through Windows. I let him waffle on for a minute or so and when I said he was ringing a company he hung up. charming!

Typical "Road Accident" cold caller.

Pre-recorded message claiming to be from BT but not sure why a British company would use someone ( or voice generation software) with a mid-Atlantic accent to deliver a message to a UK-based customer. Some rubbish about disconnecting my Internet if I don t follow instructions which, undoubtedly, would involve me in racking-up a huge phone bill, i.e. if press either 1 or 2 as instructed. I hung-up. A variation on the SCAM calls from India about problems with internet account.

Called number back using Jabber at work.. After ringing for a while a recorded message from a well spoken gent says Please hold the line someone will be with you shortly 3 repeat messages later and 3 min s later a female with an accent says Goodby So confirmed it is scam !

It's a loan lender saying they've preapproved you for a loan. I hung up, they were ringing me several times a day from a local to me area code

We are called 3-4 times a day. Every time, I tell them to take us off their calling list (as you are advised to say!), but they just won t stop. They start before 9am and still call into late evening. Their treat is, "if you just answer our questions then we will stop ringing you" . . in other words, if you don t we will continue to annoy you.

Very rude, pushy telemarketer insisting on speaking to company owner after being told several times they were not based at this site. Asking for personal mobile, refusing to give any info about where they were calling from. Hung up.

I have been receiving several calls a week from this number to my mobile phone, home number and office number. They either say they are from "Trading Banks" or a market research company in Taiwan. Either way, you know it s a scam. I like to have fun with them. They have all been Filipino until today where the caller was of African descent.
