The caller told me I was owed money from previous loans or mortgages, said he couldn t give any details because of data protection, when I gave him a false name (colin harris) said he still couldn t give any details. this person called used the name of the person who answered ( my dad ) and when he questioned who he was the caller slammed the phone down.. re trace gave the number of 01271 42169 but when we rang it back it says it doesnt exist. Please can someone check on this person and stop this happening again

Apologies my last entry should be rated as 9 Very untrustworthy. "Technical fault with your BT hub. Please go to your computer so I can fix it for you". Said I was unable to do so at present. He asked "Are you disabled",replied "what a thing to ask"! said "I m in a meeting, not free at the moment" "What meeting". With that I got fed up with playing along and rang off.

Slightly Indian sounding Woman called "Len" claiming to be from BT and asking for an email address to send information to. When I ask for her email address so I could allow it through our spam filters, she repeated she wanted my email address. I repeated I wanted her email address... she hung up. Time-wasting idiots, We don t even have any BT lines.

Had a call from this number. Lady stating she was from BT Accounts. When I challenged her she told me to ring 0800 800 153 which is unavailable. Definite hoax / scam for personal details.
