The person knew my name and address BUT the wrong postcode - it was way off! As I said it was the wrong postcode they asked me for mine which I refused to give and told them as they had the wrong information I was not the person they needed.

Claimed to be from TalkTalk technical department and asking questions about my router. A strong Indian accent and a lot of call centre noise in the background. I hung up.
They have phoned 11 times over two days. Some finance company. I ve given them 9 due to the number of calls they have made.
Silent call. Received a call from (07458 148209) on my mobile, although very few people know my mobile number. When I managed to answer there was nothing to be heard from the caller's end so I assumed it was some dodgy scammer. Someone on another site like this reported the caller to be an annoying or aggressive salesman from "Go-Assist" - this makes sense as I'd contacted them online about repairing a household appliance, decided their prices were far too high and deleted all their emails. Called at 0730 Waking up two family members who work shifts. Tried to redial but given as ‘ the number you have dialled has not been recognised’ by BT.
