Scam text purporting to be from British Gas saying they have made an appointment for me. I did not respond but then had several texts on the day they said the appt had been made saying they were on their way but might be late! No-one turned up I'm pleased to say. I didn't click any links so don't know what the scam is about - probably an information phishing expeditiion - but it is very clever and needs to be exposed.

SCAM by recorded voice saying they were HM Revenue & Customs and a tax fraud had been reported. Say to press 1 to discuss with the officer. If I didn’t press a number to be connected I woukd soon be arrested. Obviously pressing any key will incur huge charges or they will try to get you to give personal information etc. My number is really private so I wonder just who sold it to these scammers?

SCAM I don't know who this company is but they are ARSEHOLES. I answered, they asked to speak to *my name*, I said "who's calling" , they said "good afternoon *my name* I'm Alex how are you today?" , I said "which company are you and why are you calling me?" He then MIMICKED me like a primary school child and hung up. What a sad life to have, working for a scumbag scam company bullying people on their own phone numbers.
This was the first call from Hardy Evans Ltd. I got a name by trying to call back the number 01792764634 as I assumed that it might have been from one of job agancies. Wrong move. How would they know I have been in contact with someone with that variant? Expect it is a scam and if I clicked on the link who knows what the result might be.
