On TPS - phoned twice on Withheld Display. Asked to speak to supervisor and given this number. (They say they are telling you about Government Initiative for Energy saving.) You phone this number, to get name removed, and get no reply.

SCAM/SPAM. I was called on the 26/08/20 by this number. The caller said they were from SKY (my TV, telephone and broadband provider). He informed me that he was ringing to test my modem and improve its performance. He asked me to type a few commands which included the word “SKY”. He then asked me to permit remote access. Top tip - NEVER use your real phone number when getting online car insurance quotes. Within minutes the nuisance calls begin.

This number has just called the home phone and spoken to my partner. My partner had filled out some online surveys recently which was about gaining free samples etc. This was mentioned over the call and then offered him £20 worth of petrol or diesel vouchers, but would need his bank details over the phone to pay for postage. My partner was chatted to the person right up until this point... then stated with all due respect, as much as I would love the vouchers, I never have or will give my bank details out

Keeps calling saying they are BT. (not BT) Asks for finance director. Just says it s Jess calling.

These are the same people who used to call up pretending to be Talk Talk and say that your computer has a virus etc. This time they didn t mention Talk Talk, but the name above. I said I didn t deal with them and they said it was because I used Windows. I said that they weren t Microsoft. They have foreign/asian accents. I have only received calls like this since Talk Talk was hacked. I blocked them with Call Blocker, but they seem to call back using a multitude of numbers.
