TAXES / HMRC this is a scam caller, I dont know if they have targeted anyone else, they phoned my boyfriend pretending to be HMRC and that there was something wrong with one of his books and that he needed to press 1 and carry on to an advisor etc. We have contact HMRC about this and they are fully aware that this kind of phone call is happening. We tried to phone the nunber back but it does a long beep and then hangs up, which we a reckoning it is an actual scam machine that dials random phone numbers

Very rude, pushy telemarketer insisting on speaking to company owner after being told several times they were not based at this site. Asking for personal mobile, refusing to give any info about where they were calling from. Hung up.
I was charged ?18 in June and a further ?30 in July for a series of texts (?6 per texts) on my mobile bill. got 2 calls in the space of half an hour from this number, claiming to be from Microsoft and that my "Windows computer" has downloaded a virus without my knowledge. Not according to my a/v software, which is active on all the windows machines at home. Usual scam, supply a credit card number which will get fleeced, but more worryingly they will ask for control of your windows computer to download that very virus they were talking about to your machine.
