Real dodgy call, trying to give impression of a law enforcement of traders and wanted payment on a list they compile saying you are trusted while suggestions anyone not on it will be branded as a bad trade. Expression they used was before we start naming and shaming.

Indian lady started telling me I had a problem with Windows. I told her that she was unscrupulous and I considered that her actions were those of the scum of the planet. Arrived within email - “thedomainbureau.co.uk” Very suspect email.. looks like a domain renewal scam .. fake invoices for real domain renewals. I phoned the number - said they were a Utility discount company or words to the effect that they give quotes for cheaper utilities.. the woman answering did not recongnise “domain bureau” - which suggests what? Either folk at that business are running (multiple) scams, or denial is how they avoid people confronting them.. “plausible denialbilty”

Said something about being just about to email over financial trading reports for spread betting. When asked if they had the wrong number they hung up - presumably expecting me to call back.

They call here all the time and make unsolicited calls. When I asked the caller to remove my number from the list, they were kind of evasive and had the nerve to ask me why I didn t want to be on their call list anymore. (Which was kind of ignoring the fact that I never wanted to be on their list to begin with, but I decided to let that slip). I told them I wasn t interested - they asked why I wasn t interested anymore, at which point I hung up. I don t respond well to child-like q&a-games!

Not a day goes by without a moron calling from this number and asking to speak to a Mr Green. The same person calls on a different number if you block the number they are calling from.
