I had send a mail to HSBC and this number rang me back to discuss the matter. The woman on the other end of the line wanted me to confirm my e-mail address and then answered my query. So unless someone hacked the e-mail system of HSBC, I m pretty sure it s a legit number.

had a misse dcall from them and its a deadline when you call back.. it has all the hallmarks of a nuisance telemarketing company...

Man with Indian accent asked for me by name, claiming to be calling in relation to DNS mail server problems. Asked if my computer has been running slowly or with issues and then asked if I was happy for him to go ahead with fixing it. I am ex-directory and TPS registered etc so asked how he got my details which he then claimed he got from my ISP. Clearly that wouldn t happen due to data protection so I asked for his company name and contact details so I could call them later. He said i could check them out

This number called - I picked up the phone but did not speak. After 5 seconds the call was ended. I searched for the number and found reference to it on funnumber.in which has been mentioned against other numbers on this site. I suspect the call was spoofing the number and would have been one of the standard microsoft/openreach scams if I had spoken to one of their operators.

This number I believe belongs to a double glazing window sales company - Safe Style UK or Instyle UK.

this number calls me at least once a day. if I do not answer they wait until my answerphone clicks in & then say nothing. So very annoying. How can I stop this PLEASE??

Had a call from this number just now. He said that he is from EE and started asking a lot of questions about my contact with EE. The sort of phone I am using, how long the contract is,...etc., I got suspicion because EE should have all those details without having to ask me especially as I am still in contract with them. Try to tell you that you are entitled to compensation for injury, mis-sold PPI, etc, etc but then start fishing for information as they don t actually know the first thing about you apart from your number and a few other details.
